Twas the last day of Splendour in the grass and i was dead. Absolutely finished. Pretty sure i just sat in different places just eating food all day. Managed to catch hold of homies Light year, Hoops and Cold play. Friendly Fires were so good! I was really impressed of how tight their live show was. Really talented dudes.

Me and a few friends blew Cold play off after like 15 minutes to just keep drinking and drink off the freezing night. Our bus driver for the weekend wanted to make travels nice and early wish i was more than happy about doing to skip all the traffic! We ended making way to gold coast were our amazing apartment awaited us for our 3 night stay to relax and get our brains and bodies back to reality a little! (photos from that soon)

Saturday was the day i had my day DJ set at the smirnoff stage. Even though i knew it would not be some super crazy set i was pretty happy to play some really chilled out funky dance that i usually wouldn’t be able to play. There wasn’t really any bands i remember seeing on saturday to be completely honest, so i think i just took lots of photos of the crowds and party people.

Friday, the beginning of the festival. When the whole festival started to turn into a crazy mans land. I don’t really remember much from that day other than eating lots of food and dancing around. I managed to see James Blake, Does it offend you, yeah? and Kanye West.

Part 3 Coming Tomorrow

Thursday, the day that campers arrived to Splendour In The Grass, the day that Sweat It Out Music took over the Smirnoff stage and the day i played my first set! Making a super late entrance and dance legend Ajax yelling from the backseat of our tour bus making me run through the festival to start playing straight away, things started to shape up and turn into a crazy night from the word go. Once i had finished my first set for the night i went back to camp to set up my tent and was back onto the wagon and taking full advantage of my rider, drinking any bit of vodka i could get into me.

Half way through the night the Sweat It Out stage was closed because of the amount of jumping made all the supports collapse which all needed to be repaired. Once that was back up and running we and ajax ended up doing a verse set because my set was cut short due to the broken down stage! Ended up having the most fun ever playing my set and the crowd was amazing that i played to!

After the set i wondered around to another side stage which was open late to my old buddy and pal Deckland from Hobogestapo playing in the Jager lodge, ripping out all those old school hip hop tracks and getting my grind on with young girls. was fun!

For my 100th post i’ve decided to create a short film on my time at Splendour In The Grass up in woodford this year. With the help of streetparty, covering half the time at the rats lounge taking photos and video.
